Can you say PINK♥

Did I mention my girls went to see P!NK in Toronto last weekend.

My oldest daughter Cassidy has got to be one to the top ten biggest P!NK fans out there....for those who are unaware, P!NK (Alecia Moore) is a rock singer.  Some of her lyrics are ummmm....not PG 13 but she does have an awesome voice, and fun songs....

Well my girls went down to Toronto (2 hours south of here) and spent 2 nights in a hotel, had their nails done, had long relaxing bubble baths and just did fun girl stuff.

Cassidy had a pink chunk added to the side of her head, so Victoria Rose and I decided we wanted Pink too.....I've always wanted pink streaks, but never willing to pay salon prices.....low and behold Shoppers Drug Mart sells pink hair colour. 

Saturday, the day before they left for the city....Victoria Rose and I did each others hair....what a hoot!

We first had to bleach where we wanted pink, mine bleached so much faster then poor Victoria Rose.....then we had to wash our hair and dry it before adding the super intense pink hair colour, which i might add smelled like yummy cherry pie filling.....a couple hours later and VOILA!!!! Pink hair....

You should see my towels.....Pink colour is still coming out.....but it was all in good fun.

The girls by the way, had a super fantastic time...

Look what the lovely Canada Post delivered today

 Wonderful Pink and amber crystal earrings, just for lil'ol' me....truly blessed.

I love this....this is a beautiful piece of art....it's fantastic♥Now if you look very close you will see the tiny little pieces of flower confetti.... I wonder how they got there, I would of sworn I sent them to her....LOL
Thanks bunches Jenn.....today was a perfect day to receive a mystery gift....a wonderful blessing.

I've got the bug... :0)

I can't seem to stop myself from doodling.....

I have taken the challenge at "The Artists Playroom", and I can't stop.....

Thank you Jennifer at Just add Water, silly..... for this challenge that has rejuvenated my desire to paint roses again.....I almost forgot, go figure.

And I took the advice of Diana from "Illustration and Design" for encouraging artist to stay true to their own style and not get stuck in the rut of mimicking your favorite artists, use them as an inspiration......those were words well said.

A friend of mine was just blessed with her first grand-baby.....and it was a girl♥♥♥If you knew my friend you'd know how much fun she is going to have dressing up her new doll grand-baby in pink pink and pink.So I had to, of course, make a little something that has PINK and Roses.....♥

Scrumptiously Yummy♥

O.K....WOWI went to our local "Frosty Frolics Festive" today....brrrrr...chilly day.And while the crazy locals where playing "Snow Baseball" I was in the Community Centre checking out the over 40 vendors at the Artisan and Craft Sale.Although it consisted mostly of knitted place mats and dish cloths, I did find a diamond in the ruff.A woman and her daughter were selling handmade soy candles.Where is  the diamond you ask???Well take a look at just a couple of the scrumptious items I brought home.

P.S. Mom and Dad had a table set up at the sale, while dad played his keyboard from the stage.
**I thought I would throw in a couple pics of my long journey back to pretty... It is a long sad process.... remembering all the wonderful treasures I have given away...all the family heirlooms that I dis-owned.....oh the guilt is over whelming sometimes.But I can only move forward and hope for prettier days ahead.**

Our Valentine Tea was a Success

Well, we had 21 ladies in total....ages ranging from 16 to 71.
It was a gaggle of clucking hens if I'd ever heard myself.
In order to get their attention I had to shut the lights.....a few times...LOL.
But it was fun, our "ice breaker" game was a stir of commotion, but it accomplished its task.
I had great help in all areas, from decorating, to serving to the last and least enjoyed -clean up.
I can't wait to see what we come up with for St. Patrick's Day.....again, suggestions are most welcome.

So I'm planning a Valentines Day Tea

for the Ladies of our church and community.

This is going to be our 

FIRST ANNUAL TEA

I am encouraging the Ladies to come in a Pretty hat or Tiara, those ladies receive EXTRA goodies.

I'm not too sure YET, what we will be doing....

I'd like to maybe do a Devon Tea, but we'll see.

Sooooo....if anyone has a fun Valentine Tea idea.....oh please share.
