Apology

i would like to apologize to all of you wonderful people who have taken the time to read my blog and to comment on it......
As you know i recently joined the world of iphones.....WELL!!!

I'm hooked....i barely go on my laptop, which is where the problem comes in....
I have neglected to respond to  your wonderfully encouraging comments......
i tell myself... "next time i'm on my computer"....well next time doesn't come very often....

Well for some of us it is ANOTHER SNOW DAY...LOL
Thats o.k. because despite the snow that falls, Spring really is just around the corner.... sorry Neesie, I know that means Autumn is on her way to you....

Good Sunday Morning All!!! The Sun is trying with all it's might to break through the clouds.
I was singing a little ditty yesterday morning, and it got me to thinking...Oh oh!!! ♫Bend and stretch reach for the sky stand on tippy-toes oh so high♫
Is it a little song for children and excersice??? OR is it a song for adults who have become "comfortable" with the way things are?
Do we need to bend our thinking patterns, are they stuck in one direction?
Do we need to stretch our boundaries, look outside the norm?
Do we need to reach for our dreams, instead of accepting "what is"?
And do we need to stand tall, be proud of the people we are, bow to no ones idea of what or who we should be?
I hope to bend and stretch and reach for the sky, I hope to stand on my tippy toes....ever so high

Super Hero

House Work Heroes!!

I painted this picture today of the girl I work for Sue, of 

House Work Heroes.

Try as I may, I could not get my program to eliminate the

marks left from the paper...(I neglected to use Water colour paper...silly me)

but when I stopped and looked at the picture I thought that the streaks of shadow looked rather kewl.

Sort of like you would see on a super hero....LOL

So the paper marks stay.

"Creating" Havoc♥

It's funny how one- little -wee -quick....won't take more then a second, kind of project can keep you up until the wee hours....

I started playing around with my blog background last night. . . . .  like how hard could it be to create my own....right????
Well thanks to a wonderful site, I discovered it wasn't that hard at all to install my own background. . . . . the TRICKY PART was creating my background image. . . . OMGOODNESS!!!!
I created "umpdean" dozen different possibilities.But I eventually settled for this one (but I may change soon).

It is just so darn satisfying to create your own stuff. . . . I LOVE IT!!!!

Our Valentine Tea was a Success

Well, we had 21 ladies in total....ages ranging from 16 to 71.
It was a gaggle of clucking hens if I'd ever heard myself.
In order to get their attention I had to shut the lights.....a few times...LOL.
But it was fun, our "ice breaker" game was a stir of commotion, but it accomplished its task.
I had great help in all areas, from decorating, to serving to the last and least enjoyed -clean up.
I can't wait to see what we come up with for St. Patrick's Day.....again, suggestions are most welcome.

I did it!!!

I visited all the lovely sites I have listed on the side of my blog....I know that doesn't seem like alot considering how many sites some of you all go to...woohoo....

But for me, I'm so happy I remembered, I usually just check out what comes up on my dashboard....and then think, I had better check them all out...

So tonight I did it.... I even checked out a few I had never seen before... thanks gals for such wonderful Eye Candy!!!

On my way to ladies group this morning I was listening to "life 100.3" (Christian Radio station) and this song was on....

It was all I could do not to stop the van and start dancing on the side of the highway.....I'm not sure what it is about this song I love, but I love it...♥♥

A Prayer

So, another long week end is upon us...

How about we all gather together as a united front, and stand together in prayer.

I Pray and ask our Heavenly Father to send out His Warring Angels, to guard and protect each one of us... to minister to us in a way that only our Father knows....

I ask that He Bless each one of us with Blessings stored in Heaven, left behind, unclaimed from family members that have come and gone before us....Blessings that He will pass down to a hundred generations.
