A.P.R. Sketch Challenge

Challenge this week was a little
'Sketchie"....LOL

So above is my attempt at a facial sketch.
I decided I was going to figure out how to sketch a basic face....

I am getting a little tired of drawing people without features, I want to step it up a knotch...LOL
I need somewhere between the above and below facial features.
A face that easy easier to repeat....LOL....
Like me, its a W.I.P. (work in progress)

  1. I think you did a great job especially since you say it's your first try! The eyes are fantastic, so expressive as are the lips. I just don't do faces either, gotta get on that someday, lol. its just so difficult to learn the rule of facial structure. Mom took a course years ago when I was little. I'm gonna rely on her to teach me!
    Best,

  2. She's great - you've got the proportions pretty spot on and her eyes are lovely! It's funny I know a lot of people don't like drawing faces, but they're probably my favourite subject!

  4. I think she is lovely, I can't draw faces, the eyes are always in the wrong place and the mouth is never right. Yours are all in the right places and look great. Love you little girl by the mailbox.

  7. I think you did well! Faces are hard... I have to say though that the little girl below with her curly hair and little profile remains extra special:-)

  8. Your sketch is great but honestly I don't think the "missing features" detract from your other work, in fact it is sort of a signature.

    I enjoy whatever you do.
