Journal pages 3 and 4

well i have made it to pages 3 and 4...yeah!
I'm terrible and staying with something like this, i think maybe i get bored, i'm not sure.

but i am sticking with this so far.....i think necessity has something to do with it

So this one isn't of my sayings, it is of scriptures that speak something to me....

i get so frustrated looking for the little sayings that i have scribbled down somewhere, that i want them all in one place...right there when i want them....so i'm happy to have found this avenue....lol

Now to add colour, like a mentioned before..... it's a little tricky not being able to use watercolours....but it is forcing me to try different applications....is that the correct term, who knows....lol

I gave another go at watercolour pencils over the Gesso®.... and i think the trick is- to leave it a while.
What i did discover remember was that i can't use my Staedtler® fineliners until the very end, they run when water is even slightly near by.
I also did discover that my Micron® pigment pens aren't crazy about the Gesso®(do i really need to put ® everytime i use these words...lol)..... the ink needed to be heat set to prevent running....which i do not need to do with my normal paper..... good thing for "Heat Guns".....yeah, lets hear it for the Heat Gun...whoot whoot....

 I used the splatter technique that i learned from +Dion Dior  once again.... i am so thankful that i watched her video clip on painting rocks....i have not painted a rock, but i sure have 'splattered' things....i don't even know how i did it before....her was is so flippin simple, it's silly..... Yeah Dion,.... lets hear it for Dion....Whoot Whoot!!!!

 As you can see, i am trying to be all Photographer like and take cool zoomed pictures.....i'm still working on that....lol

 I do love the splattered look, makes things all 'neatly' messy, which i absolutely love love love.....

 I'm not one for straight clean lines....i like things fuzzy....just ask my family, they will totally agree.

 my sister is the exact opposite of me, she LOVEs straight clean lines......it makes Garage Sale-ing easy...hehehe

I have been working on a Scripture Journal of sorts.

I have taken the verses that have spoken to me over the years....my AHA moments...along with some fun doodling....I can't really call it painting because I use "Bic" Markers.

I just hate how my water colours twist the paper.I find it interesting that when using markers, my art is less ethereal (as my friend Jenn describes it)...

 

I apologize for the lame "layout"..... Blogger really needs to work on their picture installation options.....grrrr.....LOL
