Attention to details....NOT!

This is what happens when I don't pay attention to details.....LOL

If you notice the colours!!!!

There isn't any PINK.....LOL

I started out using a Staedtler Pigment Liner 0.1, sketeched everything and sat back.

Looking at it from afar I decided I needed to "emphazie" some of the letters lines.

Sooooooooo.....

I grabed a Staedtler triplus fineliner 0.3 and proceeded to "emphaze" some of the lines.

Sat back and was relativly pleased.

Now time to add colour, and as many of you know..... I'm chicken!

But colour I was going to add....

I started off adding red to the teeny tiny hearts that are on the music notes....whew was a good thing I started there.....
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

The thicker black IS NOT WATERPROOF....!!!!!!

So as you can see I had to finish in bright coloured markers.

Thank goodness I had already water-coloured the tree and the bird BEFORE I tweaked the letters.

But it was a great  good experiment for me.....it allowed me to go a little further with colour and design then I normally would have.... all in all, it isn't a piece that I will ever have in my home, but it was fun.....

BTW....I cheated on the background.....No way was my marker going to create a nice background...so I used a computer program for the background.
