Here it is.... Creative Corners

As you can see my pink chair is my creative corner, my knitting sits on the floor beside me, as well my yarn bag and my bible info bag sit nicely in behind my chair (in front of the ladder). My sketch books and pencils sit on (or in) my white end table. My bible is buried under my papers... As you can also see, I am NEVER alone :0)





My dinning room table is my painting easel.... I could pretend that I was in sun room.....

As you can also see, my house is very very small.....you've seen the whole room, that's it, both sides..LOL

This I hate to admit is my hallway..... since I do not have an accessible basement... (husband has claim to all of it).... I must use my hallway for storage.

O.K...... Pride has taken over...

Now it still is not great, but a little big of practicality has remained..... after all a girl has to have somewhere to create or she will bust.

Actually, it doesn't work too bad like that.......a private room would be best, but until then.....this is what I have, and after all....... I am surrounded by the things I love; Pink, Pets, Plants and more Pink...... ( my kids go without saying :0)... Franklin isn't too happy about it though......

Look what I made for myself...... it's so funny!!!!!
I made myself some socks... I woke up the other morning and thought "I needed some socks"...so I said to myself, and Victoria Rose "I think I'll knit myself a pair".

Well I had never knit before. I have been crocheting since I was a young girl, but never knit.
According to my mom (who was my helpline for knitting), socks are not an easy thing to knit and I should try something simpler..... but I didn't want something simpler, I wanted some socks.

So here they are below....as you can see they are.... shall I say, "different sizes". LOL
I sock on the right is of course my first one, it's a wee bit longer.

Pork-chop as you can see is trying to hold her laughter in, she's such a good cat. :0)

Oh boy!!!

Well!!!!!

I think I need to seriously get some restructuring in my life...
I just spent the morning, wandering around some lovely blogs.....
so many creative women
...I can feel a tug, I too want to create...... time to focus.

Now please correct me if my assumptions are wrong on this;
I get the feeling that these ladies are focused.... they have enough things in order that they can settle themselves to create...... Oh to be settled.

Someone is messing with my mind!!!!!! :0)

See it just never pays to negect something..... I took some time off from my blog and someone has gone and changed the rules.... o.k. well not really...

They have changed the format for inserting photos though..... once upon a time I could insert a photo into a post and once clicked it would just show a larger version..... now, it takes me to an album....
I don't know.....just when ya think you have it figured out..... bam!!!!

I guess it's kinda like God!!!! :0)

To Create, or not Create, that is the question

Well then what is the answer.

Have you ever been nagged with the feeling that you should be doing something, something with the creative juices that flow through you?
I have, all the time.
What is a girl to do......
I come from a long line of creative people, sadly not a very self confident people.
Should we keep storing up the creations we make, should we give them to all our friends, or should we just stop creating?
