My stamp was part of a Blog Hop Party!!!

This is pretty cool for me.

Recently I sold a couple of my stamps through my Etsy Store, which has been a long time coming...

One of the women who purchased a couple of my stamps, graciously messaged to say that she had used my stamp in a card for an up and coming HOP....and gave me a sneak peak...

What a delight to see something I created with my pen, turned into something with such warmth and wonderful colour.... I really love how she did the brushes, they look well used.... :)

Coffee Cup Stamp

Bonjour.... Hello...

My Blogging has become as dry as my paint brushes I am ashamed to say.

I am not quiet sure as to why I have not kept up on this, I love doing blogs and painting... I guess this thing called Life has interfered.... LOL... It is all a process and a season I would say.

If it wasn't for the occasional interest I get for this particular stamp, that rekindles my creative mojo, I fear I would allow this all to side line.... so yeah, for the coffee cup....

Long Weekend -over♥

It was a wonderful long weekend, the sun did its job and shone everyday, even on Monday which was supposed to rain.

I got attacked by the "mally-grouts" this weekend...lol

I was about to throw myself a "pity party", but it was brought to my attention that i might be PMSing ...so i grabbed the calendar, and counted the days....Yup, i was PMSing ...i then reassured myself that the world wasn't coming to an end, things were going to be alright, I just had to give it a couple of daze...days.

I did manage to create a few things the past few days....

 Let me explain this gal.....now she probably won't win any beauty contest.... i was trying to see if i could draw a side profile of a nose, using the info i learned while taking a mini class from jane davenport.....
I'm not sure why i drew circles for her cheeks, i had seen jane do that, but instructions didn't go beyond that....I decided to leave all the pencil marks and just start colouring.......i used both watercolour pencils and regular coloured pencils....i have to keep reminding myself i can use more than one method at a time....
Now as to why is says "just a spoonful of sugar".....I don't know why....LOL

 this chicky-poo....well i just drew an oval and went from there......she looks vaguely familiar but i'm not sure why...LOL

 Hehehe...... this is my "Pollinator" Fairy.....she's the fairy incharge of all the pollen that we find on our cars, our patio tables, our noses.....all over our painting areas, when we leave the windows open....its all her....

 these next pieces are what i am working on for my digital stamp collection.....they are still works in progress....

I have to still ink with my handy-dandy sakura micron pen, then rescan and edit them gently before creating them as digital stamps.....I'm sure they won't look quite like this when i'm done....LOL

this teacup is inked and ready for editing.....I don't think i like all the cross hatching i did....it is going to be a pain to remove it.... LOL

Well i am still taking it easy with life, TRYING not to do things that will throw myself into a tither....

Spring Promo

I gave a shot at colouring my own stamps......

 I used Neo Colour wax pastels and my watercolour pencils.

I call her Lady Penelope..... not sure why, it just fit.

Fairy Much Fun♥

Is there a rule about having this much fun?

I am totally enjoying creating these digital stamps.....whether or not i sell any of them is "almost" irrelevant.

Our finances require i do, but i am just so totally enjoying myself.

I created this "fairy good farmer" on paper first of course.....have to keep the hands on feel....

After scanning her in and doing the odd touch up i was able to add colour using a computer program that had a "airbrush" option......

My giftings definetly do not lie with airbrushing, but it was fun to watch her come alive..... the dirt, well that was boring....so was the sky.....what can i say! LOL

I have been working on a new project,

Digital Stamps....my friend +Alice Hendon  introduced me to the idea,

I can't believe i was unaware of this avenue.

My mind has been racing with ideas....

what to create, what to create... :)

Well time to get back at it, I'm having an 'interesting' time trying to figure it all out...editing my artwork, saving it in the right format....making sure i have the correct 'download' files....details details details..

I have been a very busy girl...so busy I forgot about my blog....silly me!!!!

I have my fiercely on a mission to get my newest business adventure up and running.....

What is that you may ask?

Well I am now creating Blog/Webpage wallpaper Backgrounds, Banners/Headers, Buttons and Badges.

I am having soooooo much fun, I am combining two things I love to create with....Watercolour and Webpages.

If you or anyone you know is looking for "orginial" Backgrounds for their blog/webpage....send them on over.

I am only issuing 50 backgrounds of each creation....that way, they are still somewhat OOAK....

I think that 50 in the World Wide Web stats is pretty close to OOAK.

(OOAK is for One Of A Kind...I had to google that....LOL)
