Attention to Details, Me?

Funny thing.....I thought for sure i was one who didn't do detail....LOL... guess i was a tad off with that remark....LOL
 I started with the hat, just sketched her hat.....and then, well....all the rest appeared.
As soon as i drew her apron, i knew she was at a fair selling her wares.... i just didn't know what her wares were "yet"
 she apparently makes ceramic pots..... i personally would love to learn how to "throw" a pot....to take a lump of clay and spin in until it looks like a pot, or a cup or a plate.....
She also works in coloured glass which is how she makes her shinny sun catchers.....and because she lives on a wonderful old farm she also has sheep and an organic garden.
This girl has my life...LOL

Well I know have to get up the courage to add a little colour to it....LOL

Now I'm not sure what i will do with this when it is all finished, but it was a pleasure to create it....I realized that i don't have to finish it in one afternoon.....silly silly me!
Maybe I will be like +Tracey Fletcher King and have "several" pictures waiting to be finished....

Well all is well, mom maybe coming home tomorrow....whoot whoot, God is Good!

    I am so glad I'm not alone in having the piles of canvases to get to... but that aside, this is simply wonderful... I love the details and the vintage feel... think this will be one of your best...xx

      hehehe...thanks Tracey......Yah, I'm really happy with it..... i'm actually adding colour to it right now....ekkkk!!!
      Now is when i wish i had taken some lessons on proper watercolour techniques....LOL...Oh well, it's all a learning curve anyway....

    First of all, fantastic news that your mom is doing better. Yay!!!
    Second- how could you think you don't do detail? A good deal of your work looks very detailed to me! Though, I admit this is a whole 'nother level of detail. And it is beautiful! Seriously, that picture tells a story. Great job, Cynthia!

      thanks alice..... i so wish i could make my own pots....that would be so kewl.... i started adding colour, but have gotten scared and stopped....lol.. how lame is that...hehehe

    Hmm, I think everything I've seen of yours has details! I love this image and it sounds like the life I would love to have. But mine doesn't have sheep -- alpacas and goats are my favs.
