I don't know what has happened.
I was quite paniced when I was visiting Counting Your Blessings and Parisienne Farmgirl.... the other day. Looking at their BEAUTIFUL homes and then thinking of what I have gotten rid of (not that mine came close to theirs but...), donated it to the youth garage sale and the rest to my friend (who won't give it back.... :0)
But after the panic subsided I began to feel a little calm, thinking "o.k. this style is probably (hopefully) not where I am going to stay", perhaps it was just a bridge from the Cottage look to the "Bigger House" look, maybe the farm house look.....maybe a baroque farmhouse (is that a real style). I'm not sure what is next, but I do hope I'm not staying with this "uncreative" look.
The only up side to all of this is that my Husband and Children are happy!!!! They HATED the other look... my hubby would call it "that shabby chic sh_t".... can you imagine...:0) Pin It
I don't know why you did it because the former was beautiful, but it is the people in the home that make it warm and cozy, sweetpea. BUT I'd be surprised if you didn't knee cap your hubby for calling Shabby Chic what he called it! LOL LOL

ReplyDeleteThe husband comment is cracking me up! But never fear, garage sale season is back - you can have whole new look, better then the other two in no time flat!
I just picked up a desk off the curb today... stay tuned for that makeover!!!
