A wedding at hand♫

I'm so excited

My sister is getting remarried.....

God most certainly works in mysterious ways....:0)

She is getting married tomorrow evening.

She is marrying her...... second husband....

Crazy, I know!!!!!!

Short version;

12 years ago a very hurt and spiritually immature woman left her husband.

Short-time later, realized her mistake.

Tied HUGE Yellow ribbons around 7 or 8 Maple trees, to let him know she wanted him back.

He with his mass of hurts had already left the area and headed back north..... 8 hours north.

Sad and broken-hearted she moved on with her life.

Met and eventually married her third (and late husband).

She placed her heart in God's hands and allowed Him to heal her.

By a BIZZARE chance, the two met again.... both saying they never did stop loving one another.

BEST TIL LAST.......

her daughter finally has her father.... someone she has always wanted to know......

WE are all sooooooooooo happy for them....

It is so BIZZARE, that it has to be GOD.

So I am off to co-ordinate another reception.... small of course.

Happy Thanksgiving, my American Friends!!!!!

I just realized something.....

Since our Thanksgiving was at the beginning of October..... we (as Canadians) get to get more at Christmas.....

Why you ask ( and I would put a question mark there, but I seem to have lost it, I get a crazy French É instead)

Oh right, back to the question..... we have had over a month to burn off our Turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie etc..... so we have burned more calories, and therefore, can eat more yummy stuff and Christmas... LOL

I know, not really but I thought it was kinda funny :0)

Look what I made for myself...... it's so funny!!!!!
I made myself some socks... I woke up the other morning and thought "I needed some socks"...so I said to myself, and Victoria Rose "I think I'll knit myself a pair".

Well I had never knit before. I have been crocheting since I was a young girl, but never knit.
According to my mom (who was my helpline for knitting), socks are not an easy thing to knit and I should try something simpler..... but I didn't want something simpler, I wanted some socks.

So here they are below....as you can see they are.... shall I say, "different sizes". LOL
I sock on the right is of course my first one, it's a wee bit longer.

Pork-chop as you can see is trying to hold her laughter in, she's such a good cat. :0)

It's BACK.....!!!!!

Well, after many days of rain the snow decided it was it's turn..... it started snowing Friday night and did not stop until this morning..... I think it is here to stay... :0(

I do like the way everything looks though, if it just wasn't so darn cold and messy.

Oh how Canadian of me, to be complaining of the weather, already... LOL

Oops!!!! this is what happens when you ignore the obvious.... :0)
